YEDIKULE FORTRESS FROM EASTERN ROME TO THE PRESENT DAY
The radiant victory monument of Eastern Rome, the dungeon and imperial treasury of the Ottoman Empire return to the city with the legends of Yedikule Fortress, which has been gazing off into the view of the dear Istanbul in its deepest silence for many years.

FORTRESS MUSEUM
In 1968, it was affiliated to the Directorate of the Istanbul Hisarlar Museum. Although a full restoration work has not been carried out, the fortress has gone through some strengthening works over the years.19th Century

IMPERIAL MUSEUM (MÜZE-I HÜMAYUN)
This place was converted from a prison and used as a powder mill.Later, it was affiliated to the Imperial Museum Administration and the Girls' Art School was established in the Fortress.
The building went through various repair works.

ASLANHANE
Small houses are started to be built inside the tower. This place becomes an inner neighborhood. The lions of Aslanhane in front of Topkapı Palace are transferred here.15th and 17th Centuries

YEDIKULE DUNGEONS
The dungeons were the places in which criminal envoys and statesmen were kept.Damaged parts of the dungeons during the earthquakes were repaired.
Many nobles, for instance, Osman the Young; were imprisoned here.

IMPERIAL TREASURY (Hazîne-i Hümâyûn)
After the conquest of Istanbul by Mehmed the Conqueror, he added the Cannon Tower, the Inscriptions Tower and three more towers, which would later be called the Sultan Ahmed III Tower, and completed it into seven towers. In addition, the castle is connected by building walls between the towers and a garrison is formed here. Imperial Treasury was moved here.14th Century
